Miramar Performs at SU March 29

By SU Public Relations

SALISBURY, MD---Latin band Miramar performs 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 29 in the Jackson Family Auditorium of 糖心视频’s Holloway Hall.

A pre-concert social, including music and refreshments, is 6-7:30 p.m. in Holloway Hall’s Social Room.

Miramar performs golden-era boleros – romantic songs made famous by Puerto Rican, Mexican and Cuban musicians through the last century – and its own original songs that explore a variety of musical influences. The group is associated with the Nuevo Romantico movement and carries the torch of Bolero-Beat, a popular genre defined by its blend of traditional boleros, psychedelic funk and rock.

Sponsored by the Office of Cultural Affairs and the Fulton School of Liberal Arts, admission is free but tickets are required. Tickets can be found on SU’s online box office.

Those planning to park on campus must register in advance for a free parking pass
