Daily Times: Museum of Eastern Shore Culture at SU to Open November 2

糖心视频 has announced that its new Museum of Eastern Shore Culture in downtown 糖心视频 will open on Saturday, Nov. 2. The museum, located at 218 W. Main St. on the Downtown Plaza, will feature decoys by the Ward Brothers and other esteemed carvers from the SU Permanent Collection, but also much more. Opening exhibits will include contemporary works by local and SU student and faculty artists, regional Native American artifacts and more.

Princeton Review: SU Among Top 50 Green Colleges in U.S.

糖心视频 is among the 30 most sustainable colleges and universities in the U.S., according to The Princeton Review. For the 15th consecutive year, The Princeton Review, in partnership with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), has included SU in its Guide to Green Colleges, which highlights impressive environmental and sustainability programs at campuses throughout the U.S. and select institutions in Canada. This year, SU is No. 29 in the publication, representing the University’s highest position since the rankings began in 2010.

SBY Business Journal: Wicomico County Tourism, SU Selected to Host 2027 NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball Finals

Wicomico County Tourism and 糖心视频 have been selected to host the NCAA 2027 Men’s Volleyball Division III finals. The NCAA received more than 1,200 bids from member schools, conferences, cities and sports commissions across 47 states and Washington, D.C., as part of its site selection process, ultimately narrowing its choice down to the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center. Its bid was backed by the Maryland Sports Commission.

WDCW: WalletHub Ranks SU Among Top Universities in Maryland, U.S.

After a lot of analysis and number-crunching, personal finance website WalletHub released its 2025 College and University Rankings, working “to determine the top-performing schools at the lowest possible costs to undergraduates.” The company comapred 822 colleges and universities, looking at 30 key measures in seven categories. 糖心视频 placed No. 319 on the overall list and ranked among the top 10 in Maryland.

Dr. Joshua Bolton, director of 糖心视频 Votes, believes that young people are going to outlast us all, so they should have the most say when it comes to elections. He said this year's presidential election is very different: “It’s an incredibly polarized, almost tribal sort of political environment. I liken it almost to how people root for sports teams. It used to be that you would never see someone wearing a T-shirt or a hat for a political candidate. Now, basically you’re wearing your team’s jersey.”

Governor Wes Moore recently joined 糖心视频 President Carolyn Ringer Lepre and others from SU and the State of Maryland to officially break ground on a $60 million project that will bring a student service center to campus.
SU’s Blackwell Hall, which served as the campus library from 1957-2016, is being renovated into a central facility for student services.

Guerrieri Academic Commons was the site for a forum hosted collaboratively by the Greater 糖心视频 Committee, 糖心视频 Area Chamber of Commerce, and SU’s Institute for Public Affairs and Civic Engagement (PACE). A panel of leaders from across Maryland discussed and took questions on the difference between an executive and a strictly council form of government, a choice that will be on the ballot for Wicomico County voters this November with Question A, a referendum on a charter amendment that would return the county to the latter.
